A new podcast series from Jersey’s care regulator has been launched to highlight the organisations that quietly support some of the Island’s most vulnerable people.
Hosted by Chief Inspector Becky Sherrington, the Jersey Care Commission’s first episode features guests from the Sanctuary Trust and Silkworth Group – two charities that work with islanders facing homelessness and addiction.
Ms Sherrington said: “There is so much brilliant, compassionate care being delivered every day in Jersey but it’s not always visible to the wider community and this podcast series is about shining a light on those services, celebrating the incredible teams behind them, and raising awareness amongst Islanders of the care and support that’s available to them.”
