You’ll need a one-unit pay card for every two hours you are parked up from now until October.

The charges were introduced years ago to stop people living near the beaches taking all the spaces when the beaches are busiest.

You’ll now need to pay at these car parks:

  • Lay-bys 5, 6 and 7 on Victoria Avenue,

  • Victoria House (Bel Royal Hamburger Bar),

  • La Perquage at La Route de la Haule,

  • La Mielle at St Aubin,

  • Midbay at St Brelade’s bay,

  • Tams at St Brelade’s bay,

  • Woodford at St Brelade’s bay.

Department for Infrastructure’s Director of Transport Tristen Dodd said: “Although there is signage in these seasonal car parks which says that you have to ‘pay and display’, we want to give people an extra reminder particularly regular users who may not pay as much attention to signage as others.”
