A Jersey-based fashion recruitment specialist has been accused of identifying and supplying young women to Mohamed Al Fayed, who allegedly went on to sexually abuse them.
Kelly Walker-Duncalf (48), who now lives in Jersey under what is understood to be her married name, Kelly Gilmour, worked in various roles in Harrods, which was then-owned by the Egyptian billionaire, from 1997 to 2013.
Mr Al Fayed did not face any charges for sexual offences during his lifetime, but the mogul’s death in 2023 led various women to come forward.
Several woman have now named Ms Walker-Duncalf as someone who enabled Mr Al Fayed’s alleged attacks. She strongly denies having helped Mr Al Fayed to commit any crimes against women or facilitating in any way.
Testimonies from some complainants were shared in a Dispatches documentary aired on Channel 4 last night.
One woman named Francesca recalled how she had been introduced to Mr Al Fayed via Ms Walker-Duncalf when she was aged 20 and seeking experience in the fashion industry. She claims that he went on to rape her.
“She said to me, ‘Oh, have I ever taken you to meet Mr Al Fayed? He is amazing. He’s done so much for me in my career, I could give him a call. You know, I think he’s looking for a PA.’
“She then came back and she was like, ‘Amazing. He wants to see you now.’
“We’ve jumped in her car and we drove to Park Lane to his residence. I remember being taken to what seemed like a small sitting room, and there was another glass of champagne there, and having a sip of that.
“I don’t know if I was taken up to a room with him. I think I was. I don’t know how I got there, and then my next memories are of him on top of me, and he was raping me.”
She said she felt “terrified” and made a report to the police.

She claimed that Ms Walker-Duncalf texted her the next morning, saying: “Hi darling, how are you doing? Please don’t be upset about last night. Let’s go for brunch.”
Another woman, named Claire, claimed that Ms Walker-Duncalf had recruited her when she was 19. She was taken on Mr Al Fayed’s yacht on a trip to Saint-Tropez, where she alleges that he tried to rape her.
When raised with Ms Walker-Duncalf, she claims the response was: “Why didn’t I just close my eyes and think of someone else?”
It has also been reported that Ms Walker-Duncalf was arrested alongside Mr Al Fayed in 2015. According to the Telegraph, the young woman alleged she had been groomed by the executive and then raped by the Harrods owner.
Companies House documents for Ms Walker-Duncalf’s luxury recruitment consultancy business, KWD Solutions, show her permanent residence to be in Jersey.
She changed her name on the company documents to Kelly Gilmour, the name by which she is known locally, in 2018.

Express understands she has been active in the community and involved in charity fundraising.
In last night’s documentary, Channel 4 journalist Cathy Newman comes to Jersey in an attempt to meet with Ms Walker-Duncalf. However, she was unable to secure an interview.
A lawyer for Ms Walker-Duncalf provided a statement – it said that she did not, at any stage, “facilitate” or “enable” any of Mr Al Fayed’s alleged crimes.
It was reported last year that UK police believe Mr Al Fayed may have raped and abused more than 100 young women and girls.
Earlier this week, it emerged that five of his alleged victims are planning to launch legal action against his estate.
Leigh Day is representing the women, who are claimed to have suffered “serious sexual abuse, harassment and mistreatment”.
They are also calling for an independent inquiry.
