The Magistrate’s Court heard that Marlena Florence was found to have 62 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath – against the legal maximum of 35 micrograms – when she crashed her black BMW on La Grande Route de la Cote on 18 February.
No other vehicles were involved and no-one was injured, but Florence’s car was written off and the road was blocked for a time.
Florence admitted the charge of drinking and driving.
The Magistrate, Bridget Shaw, ordered her to retake the driving test after the ban has elapsed.
