Henry Cavill has organised an exclusive pre-screening of his latest blockbuster Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice at Cineworld on Thursday night, before the film is officially released to the UK.
You can get tickets for the special pre-screening here for £30 and see Superman and Batman putting their differences aside to stop Lex Luthor and his deadly creation Doomsday before Metropolis is destroyed.
Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck who plays Batman are flying into London tonight to join their co-stars for the European premiere of the film in Leicester Square but it won’t be long before you can see Durrell’s ambassador in action on the Island.
Henry is running the Durrell Challenge on 15 May – a 13k race from People’s Park in town to the Wildlife Park in Trinity. After crossing the finish line, the Hollywood A-lister will be staying at the Wildlife Park for Durrell’s big family fun day from 11 am until 5.30 pm when there will be loads of entertainment for the whole family, keepers will be talking about the animals and there will be pop-up stalls showcasing the best of Jersey.
Durrell’s Corporate Relations Manager Stephanie Moore said: “Henry is so supportive in his role as Durrell’s Ambassador. He works tirelessly to support our work in Jersey and around the world. His next appearance will be on Sunday 15th May when he is will spend the day at the Park for The Durrell Challenge 2016.”
All the proceeds from Thursday night’s special pre-screening will go to Durrell and you’ll get to take home a free goody bag with a photo of Superman hand-signed by the Man of Steel himself.
