He was arrested on 28 December after allegedly punching another person at the Liberation Station in St Helier. It’s claimed the boy then resisted arrest by police officers and was found to have an offensive weapon (a metal pole) in his possession.
Defence Advocate Ian Jones said that the boy pleaded guilty to all three offences.

After hearing the prosecution’s opposition to the bail application due to reoffending concerns, Assistant Magistrate Peter Harris told the teenager, “…I think it’s a real positive that you have got yourself a job.”
The 16-year-old has been remanded on bail until his next appearance at the Youth Court on Tuesday 2 January 2018.
