From liminal pastel shades at dawn and dusk to intense blues that cause me to reach for the thesaurus adequately to describe them; aquamarine, azure, sapphire, turquoise.

3. The heritage
When Walter Raleigh instructed for Elizabeth Castle to be built in 1600, there was a possibility that the stone flanks of Mont Orgueil might be used to build the new castle.
Pictured: Mont Orgueil Castle still educates us on our history to this day.
Luckily for us, he decided that “twere pity to cast it down” and so it remains today; a rich resource for us to learn about our past, our place in history.
