Amy Critchlow came through the field for second behind Maisch with Lindsay Sword third.
The Bordeaux course makes full use of the terrain, with some tough climbing and descending, twists and turns through the harder under foot upper “Forest” area, and some boggy challenges in the lower “Orchid” which sent a few people off balance.

Behind Merrien in Division 1, raced over six miles, James Priest was second and Ethan Woodhead third.

U17 Jack Rees ran strongly for fourth, while the returning David Emery ticked off some metronomic pacing to come through for fifth ahead of Pete Amy, Matt Jamieson and Toby Mann.

Blake Smith was the leading running in the four mile race for those in Division 2 and 3, while U15s James Stafford-Bell and Orla Montgomery led home those running over three miles.

Emil Friedrich was the quickest U13 boy, with Max Roger and Max Stafford-Bell following and then Grace King as the leading U13 girl as they raced over two miles.
