The annual Utmost Community Sports Funday returns to Saumarez Park this weekend.
Tomorrow’s free event on will offer people the chance to have a go at a variety of sports.
Up to 20 will be available on the day including boxing, cheerleading, gymnastics, cycling, football, cricket, golf, netball, and table tennis.
Disability football group Guernsey Dynamics and Guernsey Mobility Let’s Go will also be there to offer some accessible sporting opportunities.
St John Guernsey, the Guille-Alles Library and Guernsey Dairy are also confirmed to be in attendance.
Back by popular demand, the Sports Challenge Card offers attendees a way to engage with the day’s activities by completing a series of fun challenges.
“The Utmost Community Sports Funday has really become a must attend event for our island community,” said Nicky Will, Director of Communications for the Sports Commission.
“It’s more than just sports; it’s about uniting people, fostering well-being, and creating lasting memories. These are the core aims of the Sports Commission, so it is great to see them reflected during the event.”
