Finance specialist promoted to Counsel at Appleby

A lawyer described as a "rising star" in banking and financial law has been promoted to the role of Counsel in Appleby's corporate team.

Daniel Healy has been with the firm since 2017 and has, in the past seven years, advised leading UK, European and US banks and financial institutions in their acquisitions.

He was praised by the Legal 500 as “very reliable and able to deliver clear and well costed advice on time” and “very good at finding solutions, very responsive and does not waste time negotiating points which are not material”.

Mr Healy has particular expertise and experience in advising lenders and corporate borrowers on fund finance, real estate finance and acquision finance transactions, as well as Sharia-compliant financings and cross-border mergers and acquisitions.
