In celebration of National Nursing and Midwifery week, HSC are delighted to announce that nominations are welcome for the Bailiwick Carer, Nurse and Midwife of the Year awards.
Elaine Burgess, Deputy Chief Nurse said:
‘Everyday carers, nurses and midwifes around the world go the extra mile for their patients. This is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the outstanding work carried out by carers, nurses and midwives in the Bailiwick. ‘
Do you know someone who deserves to be recognised for their outstanding contribution and care? Nominations are welcome from patients, family and staff members. Nomination forms are available at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, from community nurses or can be downloaded from www.gov.gg/awards
The winners will be announced on May 12 2017 which is International Nurses’ Day – the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birthday.
