Alex Colias has joined Logicalis as an Information Security Consultant, advising on the delivery of IT systems and services as well as helping organizations understand complex and topical matters such as cyber security and the importance of securing and protecting information assets.
Logicalis is the largest IT services company in the Channel Islands with expertise in communications, data centre and cloud services, and managed services. Securing Alex as a consultant is testament to the company’s ongoing commitment to helping businesses comply with relevant regulations and laws and ensuring that they have implemented the necessary controls.
Alex has over fifteen years’ experience in information security and returns to Guernsey having started his career there in the finance industry, before moving to the UK to work in private healthcare, for the British Transport Police and more recently an NHS Foundation Trust.

A Certified Information Security Manager, Alex holds a B.Eng Hons in Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering along with a MSc in Information Systems. As well as a love of technology, Alex enjoys people management and has obtained a Certificate in Team Leading and a Foundation Certificate in Staff Development. He also holds the ISEB Certificate in Information Security Management Principles.
