Arrest for ‘assaulting police officer amid St. Aubin fight’

Windows were smashed, two people were injured and one man was arrested following an alleged fight in the area of Trafalgar Bar last weekend, Police have said in an appeal for witnesses.

They said the reported St. Aubin brawl took place around 20:00.

"Police attended a fight taking place near to the Trafalgar Bar in St Aubin where one man was initially arrested for assault on police. Several other men were involved in a brawl outside the bar where a window was smashed. At least two other individuals sustained injuries, one of whom required treatment at A&E," officers reported.

Police would now like to speak to anyone who saw this or who has any relevant information to assist their investigation.
