Local bands Mozaics and Joe Young & the Bandits have been announced as the headliners for Groove de Lecq, described as Jersey's "biggest charitable fundraising festival and feel-good calendar date," on 5 August.

More home-grown talents feature on the list of 60 acts announced by the organizers.

Howl, The Peace Slips, Brave Yesterday, Benny the Moth, Take This,  Lauren Ivy & the Engine, are only a few of the Island's "freshest local performers" that will play in one of the nine areas including the iQ Main Stage, Saloon Bar, Reggae Beach, Woodland Stage, Kid’s Field, Wonderland, The Ring & Jersey Utopia at the Barracks.

Paul Bisson, the festival's musical director, said: "As ever our music stages will be crammed with local talent. We’ve a great mix of established Jersey performers and up-and-coming acts spanning all age ranges, genres and tastes. We’re also delighted to be welcoming Alderney bluesman Robert Hunter and his band."

The names of the charities who will benefit from this year's event have also been revealed, The National Trust for Jersey and Acorn Enterprises, with further opportunities for other charities and organisations to benefit on the day.

Organisers have also announced that tickets to this year’s event will only be available online in support of the organisation’s strictly green policies. They have also committed to use only digital promotions & communications and only recycled materials if print is absolutely required.

They will also be offering free buses for ticket holders as well as reusable and refillable cups.

A limited number of tickets are available online, at a reduced price from last year with the introduction of an Early Bird Tickets. Adult tickets are £20.75, kids' are £5.75 (under 5 go free) and the Family ticket (2 adults and 2 kids) is worth £49.75.
