An architecture firm has promoted one of its team to the role of Associate Director.

James Hookway joined DLM Architects in 2016.

As a Chartered Architectural Technologist and Part 1 Architect, he has deep technical knowledge which he has used to create detailed buildings, supporting clients from design through construction, a spokesperson said.

David De La Mare, Director, said: “James has been a tremendous asset to DLM Architects since joinging us in 2016.

“His technical knowledge, professionalism and dedication to delivering the highest standards for our clients have made him an integral part of our team.

“This promotion is thoroughly deserved, and I look forward to seeing James continue to help shape the future of the practice as Associate Director, while also leading the ongoing development and implementation of new technologies across the business to enhance the way we design, collaborate and deliver projects.”

Once-in-a-lifetime

DLM Architects continues to invest in its leadership as it takes on an increasingly diverse portfolio of residential and commercial projects, the spokesperson added.

Mr Hookway said: “Watching the company grow and witnessing the development of our unique style has been a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

“I’m proud to say I work with such a talented team who continue to push the boundaries for what we can achieve for the architectural industry.

“I’m fortunate to have assisted like-minded clients over the last decade who have shared our vision, providing opportunities for us to bring their ideas to life and refine our process.”
