Events and PR agency, Black Vanilla has been named finalist in the PRCA Dare Awards in the team culture and community category.
The awards celebrate PR agencies that hold strong internal values, inclusive leadership and support for professional development.

Account Manager Krista Osborne who has made the shortlist in the rising star category said: “I’m so proud to be recognised by the PRCA. Black Vanilla has supported me every step of the way, giving me the freedom to explore new ideas, take risks and develop services that help our clients and the agency.”
Since joining Black Vanilla five years ago, Ms Osborne has progressed earning three promotions and now manages multiple clients across various industries including hospitality, finance, construction and the third sector.
The PR agency also said it invests in and focuses on mental health support, career progression, skills training and flexible working, with a focus on “developing long-term careers in PR”.
Chloe Chescoe, Account Director and People Lead, said: “We’ve worked extremely hard on creating a culture where everyone feels supported, challenged, but most importantly respected. It’s not just a line in a strategy document for us, we live our values every day. This award recognition reflects how we work together and how we treat each other. I’m so proud of the team and what we’ve built.”
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony held in Bristol in June.
