The awards, organised by Datateam Business Media, recognise excellence in the heating, ventilation, and refrigeration industries.
The Vent Hygiene Hero category was introduced this year to honour individuals and teams who demonstrate outstanding performance in ventilation hygiene.
Mr Zimmerman’s submission, which featured detailed case studies, showcased the role his team plays in maintaining safe ventilation systems in commercial buildings – an area that has gained even greater importance in the post-COVID landscape.
“The recognition that comes with awards and nominations like this belong to the entire team,” he said.
“Their hard work and dedication to ensuring our clients’ safety is what makes this possible, it was something that came completely out of the blue and to get through the final round is a real achievement in itself, with industry experts having selected the finalists after reviewing the case studies and testimonials provided from a large pool of national specialists.”
Under his leadership, C8’s ventilation team has doubled in size and now stands as the only team in Guernsey with certified technicians in ventilation compliance.
