Starting at 12:00, the free event aimed at adults and young people alike aligns itself with Safer Internet Day, and provides guidance on online safety and security.
It is all about “providing people with an environment that can feed and support their aspirations, providing people with the inspiration and tools to Create new things, and to Empower us all to learn, discover and be safe in our amazing digital world”.
The event is sponsored by Mourant Ozannes, Airtel Vodafone, and The Data Protection Commissioner, and organised by the The Digital Greenhouse and Online Safety Committee.
There are more than 20 different companies and agencies involved. The issues to be covered include:
● Online safety experts giving advice for both parents and young people
● Demonstrations and activities including:

- Coding and Programming
- Lego Robotics
- 3D Printing
- Drone showcase and flying simulator
● Practical support and advice from Local Cyber Security experts and Telecom providers
● Support agencies including The HUB and the Police
