The Guernsey Disability Alliance (GDA) is partnering with the Centre for Accessible Environments to bring back its Access Auditing Course.
It’s one of only two remaining sessions scheduled before new legislation comes into effect in October 2028.
The training takes place on Wednesday 25 March and Thursday 26 March, with a half-day practice session on Friday 27 March, which is also open to those who have previously completed the training.
The course is being supported by Dame Mary Perkins and Specsavers, allowing free places for charities and NGOs, students and disabled people.
For businesses, the cost is £800 for the full course or £50 for the Friday practice session.
The GDA is also looking for charity or NGO premises to use as locations for the practice audits.
Anyone interested in attending or in volunteering their premises should contact carol@disabilityalliance.org.gg.
