A growing business has put down roots in St Peter’s with the successful opening of its new premises earlier this year.
Local florist Fille à Flleur launched in 2023, before opening the doors to its shop in January.
The Fille à Flleur name comes from the Guernésiais for ‘Flower Girl’.
Owner, Lara Lainé said she chose the name to reflect her love of her island home.
“I’m very excited to welcome customers, old and new, to our shop. We are now in our second year of business and have had the privilege of working on some beautiful weddings and delivering many bouquets all over the island. This is a great step for us to expand our customer base and be more accessible to islanders.”
The shop, located on Rue Des Brehauts, St Peter’s, offers flowers, plants, gifts and homewares.
The shop is open Tuesday to Friday from 11:30 to 15:00, and between 10:00 and 14:00 on Saturday’s.
