Nigel Webb, an advisor in Financial Services and Gaming, has joined the firm as a Managing Director and co-leader of its Regulatory Advisory practice.
Mr Webb was previously the EMEA Financial Services leader at FTI Consulting, where the scope of his practice included terrorist financing and sanctions, investigations, regulatory affairs, conduct, culture and the provision of expert support to the legal profession in matters as diverse as derivative trading and online gambling.
Clients have ranged from major banks, through to hedge funds, casinos and crypto exchanges.
His 35-year career has seen him work extensively both in the world of consulting and client-side. He was a Partner at both Andersen and Deloitte, and in a varied career was also Global COO at Interdealer Broker ICAP and later, head of Global Derivative Services for JP Morgan.
Mr Webb’s choice to be based on Guernsey comes from a decades-old love affair with the island which he has visited frequently over the years for business.
