Guernsey’s next generation of business leaders will help bring a “fresh perspective”, the island’s Institute of Directors has said.
The IoD has added five high-flying local young professionals to its Emerging Leaders Committee, with backgrounds in finance, utilities and management consulting.
The committee’s Chair, Euan Melrose, said each person brought “a fresh perspective and valuable experience, reflecting the strength of emerging talent across Guernsey’s business community”
“These appointments will help ensure the committee continues to represent a diverse range of sectors, skills and ideas as we support and develop the island’s future leaders,” he added.
The five new committee members are:
- Louis Pike, Manager in BDO’s Management Consulting practice
- Jesufemi Ayoola, Head of Risk and Compliance at Stonehage Fleming
- Lauren Blake, Group Head of Sales at Island Energy Group (IEG)
- Alexandra Bevis, Investment Manager at Canaccord Wealth
- Olivia Harman, Assistant Manager at Imperium Trust Company
Mayna Jackson-Gill, Digital Marketing Executive at Indulge Media, will also join in a committee support role.
Ms Jackson-Gill will help with upcoming events and projects “while receiving mentorship and guidance from existing members”, the IoD said.
