Oak has announced the appointment of Lauren Deary and Sophie Walden to its Guernsey office, saying their work will further enhance the firm’s governance, risk, and regulatory capabilities.
As Senior Manager, Ms Deary will initially focus on the funds business, working closely with teams to support Oak’s regulatory and control frameworks and develop a detailed understanding of the group’s clients and risk profile.
Ms Walden brings valuable experience supporting both international and locally owned firms. She plays a key role within the compliance team and also acts as Nominated Officer in the absence of the MLRO, ensuring continuity of oversight and regulatory responsibility.
These appointments reflect Oak’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a robust compliance framework and investing in experienced professionals to support clients across private client, corporate and funds services, said Anna Sauvarin, Group Chief People Office.
“We are delighted to welcome Lauren and Sophie to Oak. Their combined experience, technical expertise and practical approach to compliance further strengthen our governance framework and demonstrate our continued focus on maintaining the highest regulatory standards as the business grows.”
