The Oak Group has appointed Nicole Barnes as Senior Manager in its Company Secretarial team in Guernsey.
Ms Barnes has over 20 years of experience in corporate governance and company secretarial services, with expertise in regulatory frameworks and board advice, Oak says she will be valuable as it expands its governance services.
The appointment comes during a period of growth for Oak, following its acquisition by Opera, with backing from Stephen Lansdown.
In the past year, Oak has been appointed Fund Administrator for several new and existing clients, including a FTSE 250 London-listed investment company. This demonstrates Oak’s expertise and reliability in fund administration.
The financial group says Ms Barnes’ arrival underscores Oak’s commitment to forward-thinking governance frameworks, that support sustainable growth for investment companies and their boards.
James Tracey, the Managing Director of Guernsey Funds commented: “Oak’s governance team plays a crucial role in helping our clients navigate an increasingly complex regulatory environment.
“Nicole’s appointment is a testament to our ongoing investment in talent and our dedication to delivering the highest standards of governance. Her expertise will enhance the guidance we offer and further strengthen the support we provide to our clients.”
