Ogier’s teams across the Channel Islands and London have been recognised for their “outstanding service and commitment” in the Chambers UK 2026 Guide. 

The firm has been ranked in 11 practice areas across its Channel Islands and London offices, including eight top-tier rankings, with 47 individual lawyers named as leaders in their field. Ogier’s industry specific expertise has been highlighted across multiple categories, with clients saying that Ogier are the “market leaders in commercial awareness”.

Ogier’s Guernsey team is recognised for Corporate and Finance, including Investment Funds, as well as Property, Dispute Resolution and Trusts among other accolades.

Guernsey rankings:  

  • In Ogier’s Dispute Resolution team in partners Alex Horsbrugh-Porter, Bryan de Verneuil-Smith, Mathew Newman (pictured top), Sandie Lyne and Simon Davies are ranked, while managing associate Heidi Sandy is a “Star Associate”. 
  • In the Corporate and Financeincluding Investment Funds category, there is individual recognition for partners Bryon Rees, Christopher Jones, Paul Chanter and Richard Sharp.
