Ogier has been awarded Approved Employer status by the Association for Certified and Chartered Accountants.
According to the firm, this accreditation is a reflection of its high standards of staff training and the support it offers to its ACCA students.
Platinum status has been achieved for trainee development and the firm received recognition for its professional development initiatives across several jurisdictions, including the UK and Ireland, the Channel Islands, Hong Kong, and the Cayman Islands.
The ACCA states that this accreditation indicates an organisation provides strong professional, technical, and ethical skills, while supporting continuous training.
Hazel Cardwell, Ogier’s Head of Talent and Development, noted that the status reflects the firm’s ongoing investment in its workforce.
“Achieving ACCA Approved Employer status is testament to the continued investment in our people, and the strength of Ogier’s ‘always learning’ culture.
“Professional development is vital to our success, which is why we go beyond the traditional training approach. Teams have access to digital learning resources, bespoke development programmes, external qualifications and courses, developmental assignments, and a supportive coaching and mentoring culture.
“This is complemented by Ogier’s commitment to flexible working, diversity and inclusion and employee wellbeing.
“The ACCA Approved Employer accreditation reaffirms to our people that with us, they have all the support they need to build a successful and rewarding career.”
The ACCA accreditation follows a previous award last year, where Ogier was named a Platinum Employer Partner by the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP).
The STEP accreditation, which is reviewed every three years, recognises commitment to career progression within the trusts and estates sector.
Ogier has stated that maintaining certifications from both the ACCA and STEP is part of its broader effort to support employees from all backgrounds in reaching their career goals.
