A full-service PR and communications agency that only launched in Guernsey last year has already expanded its team.

Bridgehead Communications has announced the appointment of two new Directors to spearhead an expansion of its digital services: Matt Wright as Digital Director and Alpesh Nakrani as Web Development Director.

With almost a decade of experience in helping individuals and businesses enhance their reputations and reach the audiences that matter most, Bridgehead said it is investing in its senior team to meet growing demand for PR and digital expertise in the island.

Mr Wright joins as Digital Director, bringing more than 17 years of experience in SEO and digital marketing, including online advertising. He has delivered results for global brands including Ford, Volkswagen, Marks & Spencer, British Airways, and Cancer Research UK. A former analyst and account manager at The Telegraph, he has also provided SEO training to multinational organisations such as Unilever and the EU Council.

“There’s a lot of noise in digital marketing – but real results come from clarity, strategy, and technical precision,” said Mr Wright. “I’m thrilled to be joining Bridgehead to help clients in Guernsey cut through the clutter and actually move the needle.”

Mr Nakrani takes on the role of Web Development Director. With a decade of experience in digital strategy, development, and leadership, he has delivered complex, scalable projects for startups and enterprise clients alike. His technical expertise spans Laravel, WordPress, Salesforce, Node.js, and AI-driven solutions.

“I’m really looking forward to helping clients build websites that just work – no confusing extras, no hidden fees,” said Mr Nakrani.

“Our goal is to make the whole process simpler, faster, and more straightforward for everyone.”

The agency’s expansion complements its existing provision in the island, which spans PR, public affairs, events and thought leadership. Earlier this year, to showcase its offering in the island, the agency published a first-of-its-kind investigation into the online presence of Guernsey’s leading fiduciary services firms – culminating in the publication of the ‘Guernsey Fiduciary Power List’.

Commenting on the new appointments, William Walter, Founder and Managing Director of Bridgehead Communications, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Matt and Alpesh to the team, enabling us to offer new services to clients on Guernsey, including digital advertising, specialist SEO, and website development and design.

“Their recruitment is a reflection of some of the conversations we’ve been having with local businesses, who are dissatisfied with the island’s current offering. It’s our aim to shake up and disrupt the local market.

“SEO often flies under the radar – and I get it. It’s not the most glamorous part of your digital presence. But when it’s done well, it delivers. Visibility, leads, conversion – the things that really matter to the success of your business.

“Traditionally, a lot of website design and development companies make substantial fees from ‘ongoing’ amendments and alterations. Even the slightest adjustments often come with excessive costs. Attempts to wrestle control of your site from developers are exhausting. Our approach changes that.

“We’re excited for our digital expansion to make ripples, and then waves, across the Channel Islands.”
