The 13 October event falls just ahead of the States debate on the Funding & Investment Plan and Capital Portfolio.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear first hand how public services and infrastructure investments might be funded in the future.
They’ll also be able to ask questions of the panel which will be led by Deputy Mark Helyar, Vice President of P&R and the committee’s Treasury Lead.
“The funding and investment plan and the island’s investment ambition are important topics for business leaders and IoD members.
“We want to facilitate positive engagement and conversation between business leaders and Guernsey’s Deputies on how we can ensure our public finances are sustainable and how we can invest in our island’s future. We hope this event will provide an opportunity for Deputies to hear a wide range of opinions ahead of this important debate,” said Glen Tonks, Chair of the Guernsey IoD branch.
