Quarry firm Ronez has donated three tonnes of stone dust to the GSPCA as it continues to redevelop its site.
The donation will help the animal charity to continue and enhance its round-the-clock care for animals and wildlife.
Tim Pellet, GSPCA Training and Community Officer, said the charity was “incredibly grateful”.
“Their support will help us to complete some important pathway improvements that will benefit everyone who visits, volunteers or works at the GSPCA.
“The team at Ronez are always so helpful and willing to support local charities, and we cannot thank them enough for their kindness.”
The paths have already received support from local organisations.
Co-op donated specialist ground matting and volunteers from community groups like the Guernsey Raiders and staff from Howdens have helped to lay it.
Generous
Steve Byrne, GSPCA Manager, said: “A huge thank you to everyone at Ronez for this generous donation.
“We are extremely busy at present with a wide range of projects happening across the site, and support like this makes a real difference.
“The team at Ronez are always incredibly kind and do what they can to help support us whenever possible.
“Community support is essential to helping us to continue improving facilities for the animals and people who rely on our services.”
The charity is currently raising money for its #GSPCABiggestBuildAppeal as it looks to build a new wildlife hospital and kennels.
Foundations are already being laid whilst its existing kennels and cattery are being renovated as well.
