Students from Guernsey are being invited to apply for a £2,500 bursary, which also includes a minimum of six weeks paid work experience during their holidays.

The scheme is being run by global wealth management firm Julius Baer and is open to anyone about to start a degree or part way through one.

Students who’re studying a “relevant” subject and have an interest in a career in finance will be given preference.

Mona Sone, Head of HR, said past students had “thoroughly enjoyed” the scheme, which is in its fourth year.

“One of our former bursary students is now an employee and currently on our trainee programme,” she added.

Interested students should email Julius Baer’s HR team at recruitment.guernsey@juliusbaer.com.

Applications close on 31 May 2026.
