Suntera Global has moved its 130-strong Guernsey team into a new office at Plaza House, Admiral Park.

The firm said its move to the new 17,600 square ft office, following the acquisitions of Carey Commercial and Nedgroup Trust, unites staff previously split across two sites.

According to Suntera, Plaza House was the island’s first fully BREEAM-accredited building, which it says aligns with its group-wide ESG strategy.

Stuart Simon, an FCCA fellow with 20 years of experience, takes over the Guernsey operations. He succeeds Jim Gilligan, who has retired from the firm.

“This move highlights Suntera’s long-term commitment to Guernsey as a leading international finance centre, while also bringing our team together under one roof to foster a greater collaborative and supportive environment to work in,” said Mr Simon.

“It’s a really exciting opportunity for us to operate in a modern, flexible office space and, as a building with high energy efficiency ratings, it also aligns well with our own Group-wide ESG strategy.”

David Hudson, the CEO of Suntera Global, has described the relocation as a long-term investment in the jurisdiction intended to foster collaboration and support further growth in fund, corporate, and private wealth services.

“This is another significant milestone for our Guernsey team and reflects our confidence in the jurisdiction and its continued importance within our global strategy. Bringing our people together in such a highquality, purpose built space is about more than simply moving offices, it’s about investing in an environment that enables collaboration, innovation and a really positive employee experience.

“We are committed to ensuring our teams across all jurisdictions have access to well-designed, efficient working environments that enhance productivity and operational excellence, and Plaza House is a clear demonstration of that ambition.

“I am incredibly proud of the work our Guernsey colleagues have done to reach this point, and I am excited to see how this new space supports the next phase of our growth.”
