Walkers’ teams in Guernsey and Jersey have helped advise The International Stock Exchange Group Limited on its £70.4m acquisition by Miami International Holdings, Inc.

Guernsey-based TISE is known as one of Europe’s major professional bond markets, whilst MIH is a technology-driven leader in building and operating financial marketplaces.

Walkers’ Guernsey team, which advised on the Guernsey law elements of the transaction, was led by Investment Funds & Corporate Partner, Craig Cordle, and Senior Counsel Charlotte Goncalves. They were supported by Adam Cole, Insolvency & Dispute Resolution Partner, and Associate Kellie Sherwill.

Mr Cordle said: “We are delighted to have been able to provide TISE with business-critical advice and services across Guernsey and Jersey and multiple practice groups on such an important transaction. We are looking forward to seeing TISE strengthen further as a result of the acquisition.”

Sian Langley, the Regulatory & Risk senior counsel who led the Jersey team added: “We’re thrilled to have been involved in such an exciting acquisition. It is a great transaction for TISE, and another example of Walkers’ collaborative approach and teamwork across practice groups to get results for our clients.”
