Jersey Cyber Security Centre is to run a newly established cyber security centre in Guernsey.
Guernsey Cyber Security Centre, which will have a local team, aims to protect islanders in the Bailiwick from cyber attacks, online fraud and ransomware.
JCSC won a “competitive tender process” to run the centre, according to Guernsey’s States.
Similarly to the JCSC, the Guernsey cyber security centre will provide guidance and training to islanders and monitor threats to businesses and public services.
It is hoped that the new Guernsey centre will leverage JCSC’s expertise, according to Guernsey’s States.
