Quérée Property Consultants has announced a new Director and Associate Director.

The firm has welcomed Philip Ahier as an Associate Director and promoted Lucy Schooling to Director.

Mr Ahier has more than 40 years of experience in property as a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS), most recently with the Government of Jersey.

Quérée Property Consultants said he brings a “breadth of knowledge and experience” in property management, as well as a “solid technical background” in building detailing, construction and defects analysis.

Elsewhere, Lucy Schooling has been promoted to Director following a less than two-year tenure at Quérée Property Consultants. She is also a Chartered Building Surveyor.

Director and founder Jonathan Quérée said: “We are delighted to welcome Philip to the business and look forward to leveraging Philip’s extensive property and building experience to the benefit of our clients.”

He added that Ms Schooling has been “instrumental in establishing and developing the property management side of the business” and “effective in securing numerous lettings and sales transactions”.

“Operating in an overtly male-dominated profession and believed to be the only female Chartered Surveyor operating as both property manager and agent in Jersey, Lucy’s professionalism and commitment has benefitted the business and our clients greatly and I am delighted to recognise her achievements through this promotion,” he said.
