Private wealth and corporate services provider FCM Trust has announced the appointment of a new Chief Operating Officer.

Mark Ellis joined the FCM Group in June 2025 and brings over 27 years of industry experience to the role.

With a strong background in IT and a 25-year history of collaboration with FCM, he offers an “unparalleled insight” into the organisation’s systems, processes and operational needs.

His appointment, the firm says, highlights FCM’s “ongoing focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement across all areas of the business”.

As Chief Operating Officer, Mr Ellis will lead the day-to-day execution of key business processes and technology initiatives, making sure that FCM remains agile and responsive to the evolving needs of its global client base.

John Wood, Managing Director of FCM Trust, said: “We are delighted to formally welcome Mark into the FCM team.

“Having worked closely with him for many years, we know the value he brings.

“His deep understanding of our business, combined with his operational and systems expertise, makes him an exceptional fit.

“Mark’s leadership will play a vital role in supporting our global growth and long-term success.”
