She is taking on the role in addition to her current position as Head of Wealth and Personal Banking in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.
She joined HSBC four years ago as COO for HSBC UK where, amongst other achievements, she oversaw business growth programmes and led HSBC’s response to COVID-19.
Ms Bunnell said: “I’m looking forward to continuing growing this strategically important business to HSBC and working with our very talented team.”
Ms Fox said: “Over the last three years, the team has successfully grown the business. What I’m most proud of is how we’ve deepened our inclusive workplace culture and helped our colleagues to have a positive impact in their communities.”
HSBC has also recently appointed David Russon as Head of Small Business Banking for the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.

He has worked at HSBC for 10 years and has been based in Channel Islands since 2019, most recently acting as a Strategic Delivery Manager on improvement projects across the Crown Dependencies, Hong Kong and Manila.
