HSBC appoints Head of Wealth and Personal Banking

HSBC Channel Islands and Isle of Man has appointed its previous UK Chief Operating Officer to Head of Wealth and Personal Banking, where she will oversee everything from retail banking, mortgages loans and investments to trust and fiduciary services, and private banking.

Emma Bunnell, who will be based in Jersey, will also join the bank’s Executive Committee in the islands as well as the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Wealth and Personal Banking Executive Committee.

Prior to joining HSBC four years ago, Ms Bunnell was a Partner with Boston Consulting Group advising executive teams and boards in the financial services sector across Australasia, North America and Europe.

She commented: “I’m looking forward to working with our fantastic team of Wealth experts as we further develop our digital and sustainable banking products and services and I’m especially looking forward to exploring all the beautiful islands.”
