A Jersey hotel has been ranked among the best in the UK by TripAdvisor – and is the only destination in the Channel Islands to have made the list.
A Jersey hotel has been recognised as one of the UK’s top-rated places to stay after securing a place in TripAdvisor’s prestigious Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best Awards.
While Jersey is not part of the UK, it is counted as such for the purpose of the awards.
Greenhills Country House Hotel was ranked 11th in TripAdvisor’s list of the UK’s best hotels for 2026, making it the only hotel in the Channel Islands to feature in the rankings.
Less than 1% of more than eight million listings
The awards are based entirely on guest reviews and ratings submitted over a 12-month period. TripAdvisor says less than 1% of the more than eight million listings on its platform receive the ’Best of the Best’ distinction.
The recognition places the St Peter hotel alongside some of the highest-rated hospitality businesses in Britain and comes as Jersey continues efforts to strengthen its appeal as a visitor destination.
General Manager Carmelita Fernandes said the hotel team were “absolutely delighted to receive this recognition once again”, adding that they were also “proud to have been recognised as Jersey’s number one hotel for the fifth consecutive year”.
She said the award was “especially meaningful because it is based entirely on feedback from our guests”.
Shining a spotlight on Jersey
“It reflects the passion, dedication and care shown by every member of our team every day, and we are incredibly grateful to our guests for their continued support.”
Ms Fernandes said Greenhills also hoped that the recognition would help “shine a spotlight on Jersey as a destination”.
“Every accolade of this kind helps raise the Island’s profile and demonstrates the outstanding hospitality experiences that visitors can enjoy here.”
