Jersey has been named alongside London and Edinburgh as one of TripAdvisor’s must-visit destinations in the UK for 2026.

The travel guidance platform has listed Jersey in its top-ten destinations as part of its 2026 Travellers’ Choice Awards.

Jersey was ranked tenth after London, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow, York, Bath, Belfast and Torquay, in that order.

TripAdvisor celebrated the island’s combination of “English reserve and French savoir faire”, and “diverse attractions and natural beauty”.

The platform said Jersey offers something “for every type of visitor – from short breaks and romantic escapes to active adventures, foodie experiences, and unforgettable family holidays”.

According to TripAdvisor, fewer than 1% of its eight million listings achieve this high a ranking.

Tricia Warwick, chief executive of Visit Jersey, said: “We are incredibly proud to see Jersey recognised as one of TripAdvisor’s Best Destinations of 2026, alongside major capital cities.”

She added: “Jersey may be tiny in comparison to others in the top ten, but our island stands out for its remarkably warm welcome and the breadth of memorable experiences available on our shores.

“We look forward to welcoming visitors in 2026 to discover firsthand what makes Jersey such a uniquely captivating island.”
