Ports of Jersey has announced that the Jersey Marinas team has been awarded three industry accolades that celebrate its operations, performance and “customer focus”.

It secured The Yacht Harbour Association’s Five Gold Anchor accreditation with its highest-ever score. It is a “benchmark of excellence” in marina operations, including customer service, facilities and environmental responsibility.

Jersey Marinas has held this accreditation for 20 years, and said the renewal is a “real testament to the hard work and dedication” of its colleagues.

The team was also named International Marina Team of the Year at the 2025 International Southampton Boat Show where they were recognised for “outstanding performance and teamwork”, beating competition from across the global marina industry.

Jersey Marinas was also awarded runner-up in the National Coastal Marina of the Year category for marinas with over 250 berths.

Captain William Sadler, Jersey Harbour Master, said: “I couldn’t be prouder of our team.

“To be named International Marina Team of the Year and runner-up in the National Coastal Marina of the Year category is just incredible, and is a real reflection of the passion, professionalism and teamwork that everyone at Jersey Marinas brings every day.

“Maintaining our Five Gold Anchor status for two decades is already something special, but to have our efforts recognised on an international stage this year is the icing on the cake.

“We’ll keep raising the bar, investing in our marinas, and making sure everyone who visits, moors, or works with us has the very best experience.”
