Liberation Group has announced the appointment of a Director of Food and Drink.
Alice Bowyer, who entered the newly-created role last month, has been part of the business since 2016.
She previously led the food sector, but is now also responsible for growing the group’s beverage range.
Liberation Group said Ms Bowyer’s influence has seen managed pub sales increase, and the group’s food and drink reputation become “central to its success” as an accommodation provider.
She has also received various awards.
In her new role, Ms Bowyer will oversee growth initiatives, occasions and experience planning as well as working with customer insights and research teams.
She said: “Our incredible drinks offering deserves as much attention and focus as our food so I am looking forward to working closely with our brilliant teams to make sure we continue to innovate, elevate, and push the boundaries, creating even better and more memorable experiences for our guests to enjoy.”
Jayson Perfect, COO of Liberation Group, added: “Alice is the perfect choice to oversee and grow the drinks side of the business.
“She brings with her the tenacity, dedication, and expertise that has been so successful for our food offer, which will create incredible experiences for our guests and even more reasons to visit our amazing pubs.”
