3i Infrastructure plc is a FTSE 250 infrastructure investment company and capital raised will be used to fund the completion of the company’s investments in Wireless Infrastructure Group and TCR and invest in further new investments during the rest of the financial year.

The offering, with an original target size of £350 million, was significantly oversubscribed and the final size has been set so as to ensure that the Company continues to maintain an efficient balance sheet while at the same time having sufficient liquidity to bid for new investment opportunities in its current pipeline.

The Mourant Ozannes team was led by Partner Simon Felton and Counsel Victoria Cabot who advised on corporate law issues, assisted by Partner Daniel Birtwistle and Paralegal Ellie Oury in relation to funds regulatory issues. Other advisers in the deal were Freshfields and Simmons.

Mourant Ozannes Partner Simon Felton said: “This is a significant launch for 3i Infrastructure plc, which is a long-standing client of the firm. Since listing on the London Stock Exchange in 2007 the Company has delivered a strong performance for shareholders and we are proud to have been a part of its continued success.”
