Local firm 9X5 Architects has announced a new addition to its team.
Reise Bore has joined the studio as an Interior Designer.
Mr Bore graduated from Northumbria University with a BA (Hons) in Interior Design before returning to Jersey, where he gained four years of experience working across Jersey and Guernsey on a range of bespoke residential and commercial interior projects.
Having recently returned from travelling through Central and South America, Mr Bore brings fresh creative inspiration and a broadened design perspective, having already made an immediate impact in helping with the fit out of its new studio, the firm says.
As part of its ongoing sustainability focus, 9X5 is “committed to attracting and nurturing local talent who are passionate about design and sustainability”.
Mr Bore’s return to the island, combined with his interest in thoughtful, sustainable interiors, aligns closely with the company’s long-term vision, the company added.
9X5 Architects director Tom McAviney said: “Reise brings a fantastic blend of creativity, technical skill and hands-on enthusiasm.
“His commitment to quality and his interest in sustainable design make him a strong fit for our practice.
“We are proud to support emerging talent from within the island and are delighted to welcome him at such an exciting stage of our growth.”
Mr Bore added: “I’m excited to be joining 9X5. I was attracted to their fresh approach, sustainability values and collaborative working style.
“I’m looking forward to contributing to upcoming projects and developing further as a designer within this supportive studio.”
