The company described the appointment as key saying it is a fundamental step in strengthening the senior management structure and succession planning following the acquisition of C5 by BDO.
Mr Allen (pictured right) was Head of Service Delivery and Operations at Itex before it was acquired by C5 where he progressed to Managing Director of IT Services and joined the board.
Antony Allen, Chief Operations Officer of C5, commented: “In my new role I will continue to build on the excellent work the team are currently delivering. I will be accountable for making decisions in line with delivering excellent service and will be enabling the team to have even more say while ensuring we continue to operate as one C5.
