To add to the community feel of the Harbour Carnival there will be live music including from some “local youth bands”, entertainment and some other “carnival touches!”
Lady Corder; who is the Patron of this year’s main beneficiary, The Guernsey Voluntary Service, will open the Harbour Carnival and will also take part in the Ladies Dinghy Race herself.
The timetable of events is as follows:-
Corporate Duck Race – 17:30
Ladies Dinghy Race – 18:00
Paddle Board Race – 19:00
Tug of War – 20:00
Man Powered Flight – 21:00
Prize Giving – 21:30
Fireworks – 22:00

Whilst each of the events will expect to draw in big crowds there will be entertainment along the seafront and on the piers all night with the Crown Pier hosting the Harbour Carnival Music Stage where five bands will take to the stage during the event.
The timetable for music is as follows:-
Peregrine – 17:30
Dead Steady – 18:15
High Voltage – 19:15
Vice – 20:15
The Liberators – 21:00
Stage closes and fireworks! – 22:00
