Ms Wright joined the business in September 2016 and holds the CIPD Level 5 Intermediate Certificate in Human Resource Management and has worked across different industries offshore.
The firm says that one of Ms Wright’s first responsibilities was to support Moore Stephens’ employees during the recent business restructure, which saw a holding company established and four different practise areas become individual businesses in their own right.
Ms Wright will also be supporting Moore Stephens in Guernsey and her duties cross both Islands include recruitment, employee engagement, employee career development and promoting Moore Stephens as a place that finance professionals can develop their careers.
Angus Taylor, Chief Executive Officer of Moore Stephens in Jersey, said: “With 13 years’ experience working in human resources, Michala is a welcomed and valued addition to the team. She is bringing a fresh perspective which has been beneficial during the recent restructure as all of our employees have been part of the transformation process.
“Her experience will be vital as we continue to support our colleagues in all the Moore Stephens’ businesses in Guernsey and Jersey.”
Ms Wright said: “Supporting employees through the changes following the restructure was part of what drew me to Moore Stephens. It was a challenge I wanted to be a part of as we work together to define our culture. I am looking forward to the next steps and to supporting the employees across our offshore business.”
