The IoD Director of the Year Awards aim to celebrate the achievements of outstanding business leaders in the island.
Hosted once a year, awards are given to those who excel in areas such as innovation, sustainability, equity, diversity and inclusion, and more.
The awards feature 10 categories from small and family organisations, the third sector and large business leaders, with all sectors represented. Nominations are now open and close on Friday 5th July. The awards ceremony will be held on Friday 8 November.
This year’s chair of the judges is former IoD Chair and Head of Legal and Technical for Jersey Finance, Lisa Springate, who will be selecting an independent panel of six others. A shortlist will be announced ahead of the Gala awards dinner.
IoD Jersey Chair, Natasha Egré, encouraged nominators “to think about leaders who have really made a difference in the island over the last year, whether it is for their innovation, their outstanding progress, their resilience, or how they have gone against the grain to make things happen within their business”.

- Director of the Year – SME Business (under £10 million turnover)
- Family Business Director of the Year
- Start-up Director of the Year
- Third Sector Director of the Year
- Public Sector Director of the Year
- Young Director of the Year
- Director of the Year – Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
- Director of the Year – Sustainability
- Non-Executive Director of the Year.
