A number of promotions at Bedell Cristin have been announced.

Advocate Sonia Shah has been appointed partner in the firm’s Jersey Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice.

Ms Shah – who is ranked by both Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 – has been with the firm for almost ten years. The firm says she has advised clients in some of the longest-running and complex trusts disputes matters before the Jersey courts during her time in the jurisdiction.

Her appointment means the team is now led by four partners including Advocates Robert Gardner, Edward Drummond and Robert Christie.

Kirsten Brass has also been promoted to Counsel in the Jersey International Private Client team. Ms Brass is based in the firm’s London office and has been recognised for the quality of her work on international wealth structuring and estates by Legal 500 and eprivateclient.

Juliette Walton will also be joining the Jersey International Private Client team, in the Jersey office, as an associate, having successfully qualified through the firm’s training scheme.

Anna Snowden has also been promoted to senior marketing and communications executive, Emma White to senior finance administrator and Jordan Spencer to senior client take-on administrator, all in the Jersey office.

“On behalf of all of the partners, I am very pleased to congratulate Sonia, Kirsten, Juliette, Anna and Jordan on their success and recognition,” said Bedell Cristin Global Managing Partner Tim Pearce.

“Each of these promotions across our offices represent a significant contribution to the growth of our business, and we are so pleased to have such a talented, committed and engaged group across our legal practice groups and business support teams.”
