Iceland Foods is “expanding its footprint” in the Channel Islands with the opening of two new stores in Jersey.

The new stores are the first to open in the island under Iceland’s new franchise partnership with Alliance, an independent retailer in Jersey and Guernsey.

Situated in St Ouen and on Broad Street, St Helier, the existing Alliance stores have officially re-opened as Iceland stores.

The firm said the stores will stock Iceland’s “popular product ranges and brands”, such as Harry Ramsden, Cathedral City and TGI Fridays.

Justin Addison, International and Partnerships Director at Iceland Foods, said he was “excited” to open the stores for the first time under the firm’s new franchise partnership with Alliance.

“It ensures that shoppers in Jersey have access to Iceland’s innovative and affordable range, offering greater convenience and choice,” added Mr Addison.

“We look forward to welcoming the local community through our doors while strengthening our partnership with Alliance as we continue our growth plans this year.”

“We’re thrilled to be working with Iceland Foods to open these two new stores in Jersey, bringing its much-loved products to the local community through Alliance,” said Andrew Bagot, Managing Director of Alliance.

“Together, we’re making it easier than ever for households in the Channel Islands to access Iceland’s fantastic range, from exclusive brands to everyday essentials.”
