A Jersey-based provider of private wealth, funds, corporate and capital markets services has promoted six employees to support the company’s new-year growth plans.
VG announced the news as part of its latest round of promotions.
In the corporate business department, Jake McMichael has been promoted to manager, Zach Ellam has been promoted to assistant manager, and Keira Softly has been named corporate administrator upon the successful completion of her training.
In private wealth, Eve Smith has been promoted to senior trust officer and George Sheehy, who joined VG as a trainee, has been appointed as trust administrator.
Noelia Neito-Garcia has become a senior client reporting accountant.
It follows VG’s appointment of William Douglas as chief executive, to lead the business through projected growth following a strategic investment from Mayfair Equity partners in late 2024.
The company launched its capital markets service in 2025, as well as a dedicated London office, and plans to expand to Dublin and the Middle East in 2026.
Mr Douglas said: “I am delighted to recognise our talented colleagues who are at the heart of what we do for our clients.
“VG’s ambition to grow is underpinned by our colleagues’ success in developing their professional expertise, which is foundational to delivering personal, high quality services to our longstanding global clients.”
Emma Stewart, head of HR, added: “Congratulations to my colleagues. Our twice-yearly promotions are just one of the ways we nurture our talent and help our people excel in their careers.
“During the last year, 16 members of our 110-strong team have earned promotions, reflecting VG’s people and growth culture.”
